Styled Portrait Sessions
Enjoy a relaxed, guided portrait experience with photography by Katie Kaars and styling by Madeleine Park.
You'll have support with styling, posing and expression throughout your session, so you can feel comfortable in front of the camera and leave with portraits that feel like you.
Your session includes styling, photography and all edited JPEG images. These are the selected photographs Katie professionally edits and delivers from your shoot, rather than every image captured.

Wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. Solid colours are always flattering, and textures or layers can add interest. Avoid loud prints or logos. Bring 2–3 outfit options so we can create variety in your portraits.

Yes! Think of it like you’re getting ready for a nice event. Don’t get your hair cut the day before—take about a week to settle in. Whether you do your own or hire a pro (I can recommend a few!), the goal is polished but still you.

Your photography session is secured once I've received both your signed photography contract and your 20% booking deposit.
I'll send your contract through Dubsado for you to review and sign.
The remaining 80% will be invoiced the day before your shoot and is payable that day.
All photography package prices displayed on my website are GST-inclusive, with the total amount payable confirmed in your booking details and invoice.

Sessions take place at a Sydney location we choose together - your workspace, home, or a stunning outdoor spot. I’ll help you pick the perfect backdrop that reflects your vibe.

100%. Most of my clients feel this way at first! I’ll gently guide you through poses and expressions, helping you feel at ease. You’ll be supported every step of the way and walk away with photos and headshots you actually love.

Keep it simple, clean and relaxed. A shoulder-up shot with good lighting and a neutral background works best. I’ll guide you with posing and expression so your headshot feels professional, but still like you.
