THE JOURNAL OF A CONFIDENCE COACH & PHOTOGRAPHER
Unfiltered. Just like my photography.
Consider this my little corner of the internet where the filter comes off. I'm sharing the tips I wish someone had told me earlier, the stories that still make me laugh, the lessons that came the hard way, and everything in between. Whether you're a business owner trying to figure out how to show up online, or just someone who wants to stop dreading the camera, you're in the right place. Twenty-two years of experience, zero fluff. Welcome to my journal.
Wearing the appropriate attire for your portrait photo session will make for better pictures.
First, present yourself like you would for a job interview.
Then, do your hair and makeup like you would for a nice night out.
Please don't wear red, all black or checks; they don't photograph well.
Choose portrait-session clothing that fits well, reflects the purpose of the image and helps you feel confident. Katie shares practical guidance for outfits, hair and makeup.
